What is Tanadi?

Tanadi Digital Cooperative (Tanadi) is a Nigerian pioneer Non Interest Fintech company duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commissions and also a registered Cooperative under the Nigerian Cooperatives Societies with the goal of driving the financial inclusion of individuals who do not have access to financial services, provision of interest free credit facilities to members, promoting savings culture and encouraging ethical investment.
We are partners with Taj Bank and Lotus Capital Limited, both duly registered and licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) respectively. All funds domicile in our customers’ accounts are held by Taj Bank and when opted in by customers, such funds are invested in ethical investment portfolios, government backed securities and other low risk investments.

Is Tanadi available in any country?

Tanadi is only available for customers who are citizens and residents of Nigeria, although our services can be accessed from any location around the world.

Is Tanadi available on mobile devices?

You bet! Use any of your devices to manage your account on the go with the Tanadi mobile app. You can download the latest version of the app for free on Google Play Store (Android devices) or Apple Store (Apple Devices) by searching for “Tanadi”.

No Internet/Smartphone?

Let that be the least of your worries. Tanadi offers a safer and easier solution that is compatible and works seamlessly on all available technologies. You can open an account, transact and request for loans through your basic cell phone by dialing *9015#.

How Secure is Tanadi?

All the data about our customers are encrypted and protected. What interest does Tanadi charge on loans?

What is the Age Limit?

To register an account with us, you need to be at least 18 years of age. However, sub-accounts can be created and managed for people under the age of 18 with the consent of their guardians.

How do I sign up for a Tanadi Account/Wallet?

Signing up for a Tanadi account is free. All you need is an email address.

Go to our sign-up page www.tanadi.co and fill in the registration form. A confirmation link will be sent to your registered email, so make sure you enter an accessible email address. Validate your email address by accessing the confirmation link. Once accessed, you will be redirected to the logon screen.

How do I verify my Tanadi Account?

We only ask for your essential information when you sign up to Tanadi but as you transact, we are under legal obligation to know more about you. You will be required to upload a government-issued photo ID such as National I.D, driver’s license and/or Work I.D.

How to reset my forgotten password?

You can simply visit the main page www.tanadi.co and click on 'Forgot' which is located at the logon screen. You will then be asked to confirm your email address and we will send you an email that contains a link which allows you to enter a new password. Depending on your email service, this may take a few minutes to arrive - so please be patient and contact us if you do not receive it.

How do I change my password?

If you can remember your current Tanadi password and you want to change it:

  • Login to your account
  • Click on the top left of the screen where your name is mentioned
  • Select the option ‘change password’

After changing your password, it becomes effective immediately.

Password Tips: Here are some tips to create a strong password.

  • Include both upper and lower case letters, and also use at least one number or special character (!, *, _, etc.)
  • Don't use the same password that you use on other websites

How do I update my personal information?

After creating an account, if you need to update any of your personal information.

  • Login to your account
  • Go to the 'Profile' option
  • Then 'Profile Information' on either the Mobile APP or on the Tanadi Website.

How do I withdraw funds via bank transfer and how long does it take?

You can do this by opening a TAJ Bank account via the app.

Why has my top-up failed?

This may be as a result of insufficient funds, wrong card details (expiry date, CVC or billing address), or an expired card.

How do I fund my Wallet via bank card?

The first step is to logon to your account – either on the Mobile APP or on the Website.

The top-up option is located under your ‘Available Balance’ on the main screen.

Top-Up

Click on ‘Bank card top-up’.

Enter the amount that you would like to top-up and click on ‘Submit’.

You will then be requested to enter your card information including card number, expiry date, name and CVV (3-digit Security code which is usually located at the back of the card).

Some bank card deposits may be processed via Mastercard SecureCode or Verified by Visa (also known as 3D Secure) which offer an extra level of protection when making payments from your card. This may require you to enter a PIN number or other unique identifier which you have defined at your Card Issuing Bank to approve the payment. This service is quick, easy and free to set up. Please contact your card issuing bank for more information.

How do I withdraw funds via bank card?

You can do this by opening a TAJ Bank account via the app.

What is a wallet?

An e-wallet sometimes called a digital wallet, is a secure system that stores currency electronically. Tanadi wallet allows you to store currency electronically, you can transact with the e-currency.

How do I send money using Tanadi?

With Tanadi, you can send money to anyone with an email address or mobile number.

Here’s how to send money:

  1. Click Send at the top of the page
  2. Enter the email address or mobile number to whom you are sending money.
  3. Enter the amount you want to send and click Continue
  4. Review and confirm the information on the screen and click Send Now

Once you send money, you are not able to cancel or reverse the transaction. Please check the details of this transaction carefully.
